Inspire work?

Inspire buys Renewable Energy Certificates from wind farms across the U.S. When you become a member, you offset the energy you consume with renewable sources. Together, we increase demand for clean energy on the electric grid.

Your utility company owns the power lines that carry your electricity, and they will still deliver and transmit electricity to your home. They will also still send your bill, with Inspire now listed as your energy supplier.

Your service will be completely uninterrupted, and within a few weeks, your home will support clean energy. Nothing changes, except your new supply price and the positive impact you’re now making on the environment!

Net Zero Hero Contest: Official Rules

1. Program Period

The Net Zero Hero Program (“Program”) will be available starting at 12:01 am Eastern Time on November 1, 2021[NM1] and will be ongoing until terminated (“Program Period”). This Program is sponsored by Inspire Energy Holdings, LLC (“Sponsor”) and will be facilitated with the support of Sponsor’s authorized vendors (“Facilitators”). Facilitators are independent third parties and will not be compensated for their support, which will be limited to passing along Points (as defined herein) accruals to participating, active, authorized field sales companies (“Dealers”). Participation in the Program, by Dealers and by Participants, constitutes a full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules (“Rules”) and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Program. 

2. Eligibility

The Program is open to all sales representatives employed by Dealers performing customer acquisition services on behalf of the Sponsor in the United States who are: (a) at least 18 years of age or older as of his/her requested enrollment into the Program; and (b) are actively employed by a Dealer during the Program Period (“Participant”).

3. Participation

All eligible Participants may participate in the Program by requesting their employer (Dealer) to set up an Awardco account for them on the designated awardco.com site. Each expected customer activation, which is a customer order validated by the Sponsor in its sole discretion (“Expected Activation”), will constitute one entry (“Entry”) in accordance with the Guidelines below. Participants may voluntarily withdraw from participating in the Rewards Program at any time.  A Participant will be automatically withdrawn from participating in the Program if the Participant subsequently becomes ineligible or is no longer authorized to provide customer acquisition services for the Sponsor. Participants may be removed from participating in the Program by the Sponsor at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. See Sections 6 and 8 below for additional details.

NO SLAMMING: Any attempt to obtain any Entry or Entries through intentional “slamming” or any unauthorized, falsified, or fraudulent act, activity, or enrollment of any kind, as determined by Sponsor in its sole judgment, will result in the Participant’s immediate disqualification and may further result in Participant’s removal from Sponsor’s sales program.

NO Co-employment: By participating in the Program, each Participant acknowledges that Participant is an employee, independent contractor, or consultant of the Dealer and not of the Sponsor or any Program Facilitator. Participation in this Program does not create or imply any employment, contractual, or other relationship of any kind, present or future, between Participant and Sponsor, or between Participant and Sponsor’s customers, or between Participant and any Program Facilitator.

4.  Entries and Points

During the Program Period, Participants will accumulate points in their Awardco account (“Points”) based on eligible Scenarios in accordance with Sponsor’s then-current guidelines (“Guidelines”). Sponsor reserves the right to modify the Guidelines and the Program, including without limitation the Point allocation, at any time. Modifications will be posted in an updated version of these Rules as indicated by the “Updated” date at the top of the page. Continued participation in the Program after any modification to the Rules indicates a Participant’s full and unconditional agreement to the modified Rules.

LIMIT: No Participant may accrue more than a maximum of 2,000 Points in a single calendar month. Participants’s accounts may not hold more than a maximum of 2,500 Points at any time. 

5. Points Redemption

Participants may redeem their accrued Points for a wide selection of rewards that may include (for example) products, event tickets, hotel stays, swag, and/or rewards cards (“Rewards”). All Rewards are subject to availability. Rewards may change at Sponsor’s sole discretion at any time. Rewards may be redeemed by logging into netzerohero.awardco.com. Points have no cash value. 

LIMIT: A maximum of 2,500 Points may be redeemed per calendar month.

6.  Program and Reward Restrictions

Dealers are required to allocate Points to Participants promptly. Points that are not allocated to Participants by Dealers within forty-five (45) days will be forfeited. Dealer Points balances at or in excess of 2,500 Points at the time of the bi-monthly reporting will forfeit any Points over the 2,500 Point threshold that have been earned. Points cannot be earned back and they will be returned back into the Program. To avoid forfeiting these Points, any additional Points over the 2,500 Point threshold may be allocated to accounts under 2,500 Points at the time of the bi-monthly reporting. If these allocated Points cause the receiving accounts to go above the 2,500 Point limit, those accounts may do so without forfeiting the excess points over the 2,500 Point threshold.

Participants who are no longer employed by a Dealer, or whose employing Dealer is no longer authorized to perform services on behalf of Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole determination, at the time of notification are not eligible to accrue any additional Points or to redeem any Points for any Reward (“Disqualification”). Any Reward redeemed but not fulfilled by Awardco prior to Disqualification will be deemed null and void. Points and Rewards are non-transferable. Rewards cannot be substituted or exchanged for cash value. Rewards in the form of gift cards are subject to additional terms and conditions specified by gift card issuer. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Reward of equal or greater value at any time and in its sole discretion. All taxes and expenses relating to the acceptance of Rewards and use of Rewards shall be the responsibility of the Dealer and the Participant. The difference between the value of any Reward as stated herein or elsewhere by Sponsor and the value at time of Reward redemption, if any, will not be awarded or otherwise paid out to Participant or to anyone else. Eligibility as a Participant, accruing Points, and redeeming Points are each contingent upon fulfilling and satisfying all requirements set forth in these Rules (as may be amended from time to time by Sponsor).

7. Reward Notifications

 Participants will be notified by Awardco via email of Points redemption and the availability of selected Rewards. Sponsor reserves the right to reclaim Rewards or the value thereof if any of the following occurs: (a) If any redeeming Participant rejects the Reward; (b) if the Participant’s email address is not valid or if the Dealer is unable to contact the Participant via email or phone within seven (7) business days; (c) if the Participant fails to provide any information required by Awardco in order to redeem the Reward; (d) if the Participant is subject to Disqualification; or (e) if the Participant voluntarily forfeits the Reward.

8. Additional Terms; Release and Hold Harmless

Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel this Program or disqualify any Participant if fraud or technical failures (including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, or unauthorized intervention) or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor compromise the integrity of the Program. By participating, Participants agree to (a) abide by the Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final in all respects; and (b) release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Facilitators, and Dealers and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever, including without limitation property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the Program, allocations of Points, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of any Reward or participation in any Program-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and Rewards/merchandise delivery. Participation in the Program constitutes permission for Sponsor, Facilitators and/or Dealers to use Participant’s enrollment, name, address (city and state), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, social media handle, voice, biographical information, and/or any other information provided by Participant for any advertising and promotional purposes (including but not limited to on Sponsor’s  website and/or Dealers’ websites as well as their respective social media sites) without notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor is not responsible if the Program cannot take place or if a Reward cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays, or other interruptions due to acts of God; acts of war; natural disasters, fire, flood or earthquake; weather; epidemic, pandemic or public health emergency; a travel ban; riot, civil disorder or rebellion; a strike, lockout or similar labor dispute; acts of terrorism; any other force majeure event; or compliance with any law, ruling, order, regulation, requirement or instruction of any government or any department agency thereof. Participants who do not comply with these Rules or attempt to interfere with this Program in any way shall be disqualified. There is no purchase required for any eligible Participant to participate. A purchase does not increase odds of winning.

9. Limitation of Liability; Disclaimer of Warranties

IN NO EVENT WILL THE RELEASED PARTIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATING TO THE PROGRAM. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE RELEASED PARTIES’ TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED $10. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THIS PROGRAM AND ALL REWARDS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

10. Disputes; Governing Law

The parties waive all rights to a bench or jury trial in any action or proceeding instituted in connection with these Rules. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Rules and/or the Program shall be settled by binding arbitration conducted by a single neutral arbitrator through JAMS in accordance with the Streamlined Arbitration Rules & Procedures (http://www.jamsadr.com/rules-streamlined-arbitration) or other applicable JAMS rules as agreed by the parties or directed by the arbitrator. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party, including class action lawsuits or any representative-type proceedings. The arbitration shall be conducted in the County of Los Angeles in the State of California. These Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

11. Use of Data

Sponsor and/or Dealers may be required to collect personal data from Participants in accordance with their respective privacy policies. By participating in the Program, Participants hereby agree to Sponsor’s and/or Dealers’ collection and use of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted the terms of the Sponsor’s Privacy Notice located here: https://www.inspirecleanenergy.com/policies/privacy-policy/.
